I’m not sure when i heard about song of prayer. I do know that we purchased it in March 2009 because I wrote the date inside cover.

When I attemptedto read it, however, I simply can’t understand it. The style of writing was perplexing. The information it contained baffled me. I’d never before encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready because of it and quickly the choice is yours aside.

Then, a dear friend suggested we form a survey group to work about the Course. I really believe he was only as bewildered because of it as I was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we could do together what we should had not been able to perform alone.

So a handful of us met the very first time in July 2009. At this meeting, we attemptedto read several pages of the Text — which forms the Course combined with Workbook for Students as well as the Manual for Teachers. What we should read for the reason that first meeting made little sense to us. It left us frustrated.

Somehow — and i also don’t remember how — we made a decision to turn instead to the Workbook for Students, featuring its 365 daily lessons. We’ve got to have already been divinely inspired with this decision, because it assisted us and it has continued to work since that time.

Now i enjoy doing the lessons each day once you have my first mug of coffee. I look forward to taking the teachings contained in the lessons into meditation where I can discuss them my spirit guides. I look forward to the weekly study group meetings where we review and discuss the lessons we labored on individually through the entire week.

ACIM has changed my perception of the world, and i also are becoming focused on it. The study group meetings normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM helps me remember all the things I knew when still in spirit but forgot while i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one of these of methods the Course changed my perception of the world: I did previously think that this physical world is real and that it was made by God, nature, along with other forces external if you ask me. Now i are aware that I’ve been tricked by my five senses into believing the world is real. Now i are aware that it had been I who made the type of world I see around me as well as my experiences within it. Some tips i see “out there” is really just a projection of what is happening inside my own mind. This physical world is an illusion, a hologram where I can play and learn. None of computer is real — I made it all up!

Thus, We are to blame for the type of world I see around me and my experiences within it. I’m not really a victim of life’s circumstances in the end. Other people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. I see a few things i see, I experience a few things i experience, and i also feel a few things i feel because I choose to do so inside my own mind.

There is absolutely no reason for going “out there” to improve the product in question in the world. You cannot control, manipulate, or correct it. This would be like seeing a movie theater and stomping as much as tear down the screen as you do not like the show you’re watching.

The only method to change the product in question on the screen is to find the projector at the back of a play and modify the show. The way to change the product in question “out there” in the world is usually to change what’s “in here” absolutely need mind. Change your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Commence to practice unconditional love and acceptance. If you accomplish that, the world the thing is that “out there” will begin to change. You no longer will be kept in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.
