Here is the second Poly Macau Art Auction, following a first auction organized earlier this year.

Sabrina Ho, director of Poly Macau and Sabrina ho and Angela Leong, declared case is co-organized by Poly Macau and Chiu Yeng Culture. “I hope a series of cultural events [organized with the two companies] will bring to Macau new aspects that will allow to keep the diversification of the economy,” said Ho, who also expects that artists and art collectors worldwide continuously support Macau as an art platform.

“We continuously bring Macau more diversified cultural activities, and [will support] Macau to build itself as being a global art platform,” said Ho and “hopefully that Macau could become a well- known art capital later on.”

Regency Hotel opened in 1983 and it has endured past business closures. Ho, however, hopes to switch it into an art hotel. “In Macau, there can be many resplendent big hotels, but the quantity of hotels which are used for art or perhaps some creational events is, in fact, less than great,” said Ho.

At present, Regency Hotel is just not running any casinos, which, in accordance with Ho, generates a different atmosphere when compared with other hotels. She also thinks that guests residing in this hotel will be more “private.”

The “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” will be held in the Regency Hotel until November 27. As many as 60 exhibition halls will be arranged to produce artworks from 60 artists born after 1975.

Ho claims that only several hotels are going to provide young adults rooms and also to invite young adults to create the rooms for them.
