I’m not sure when I first heard about song of prayer. I recognize which i purchased it in March 2009 because I wrote the date inside cover.

When I attemptedto see clearly, however, I simply couldn’t comprehend it. The perception of writing was perplexing. The ideas it contained baffled me. I had created nothing you’ve seen prior encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready for this and quickly place it aside.

Somehow — i don’t remember how — we thought we would turn instead towards the Workbook for young students, with its 365 daily lessons. We must happen to be divinely inspired within this decision, as it worked for us and contains continued to function from the time.

Now, over 2 yrs later, we are well into the Workbook for the second time. The daily lessons and in many cases the writing now make perfect sense. Now i anticipate doing the lessons each day once you have my first walk. I look forward to using the teachings within the lessons into meditation where I will discuss all of them with my spirit guides. I look forward towards the weekly study get togethers where we review and discuss the lessons we labored on individually throughout the week.

ACIM has completely revolutionized my thought of the world, i are becoming focused on it. The research get togethers normally leave me in a state of bliss, because ACIM is helping me remember all the tasks I knew when still in spirit but forgot when I drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one of these of methods this course is different my thought of the world: I used to believe that this physical world is real which was created by God, nature, and other forces external if you ask me. Now i realize that I have been previously tricked by my five senses into believing the world is real. Now i realize that it absolutely was I who made the form of world I see around me and all of my experiences in it. What I see “out there” is really simply a projection of what is going on during my own mind. This physical world is surely an illusion, a hologram by which I will play and discover. None of it is real — I made it all up!

Thus, I am in charge of the level of world I see around me and all sorts of my experiences in it. That’s not me a victim of life’s circumstances after all. Most people are not abusing me. God is just not punishing me. I see what I see, I experience what I experience, i feel what I feel because I decide on so during my own mind.

There’s no reason for going “out there” to change a specific item on the planet. You cannot control, manipulate, or remedy it. This would be like traversing to a cinema and stomping as much as tear down the screen simply because you do not like the film you’re watching.

The only method to change a specific item on screen is to discover the projector at the back of a play modify the video. The right way to change a specific item “out there” on the planet would be to change what’s “in here” is likely to mind. Alter your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning.
