Cartoons – Rare Animations
Everyone understands the very popular cartoon shows of our own times, Bugs Bunny, Donald duck, Yogi Bear and also the Flintstones, just to name some, are becoming big names just about everywhere on the earth unless you’ve been living under a rock, however, not all cartoons that have been made became popular. Some were so unpopular that they only lasted a very few episodes or worse still, were never released on the mass public. We are going to have a look at a few of the rare animations which may have come and gone (mostly gone) over the last 80 years. It should be remarked that a whole world of research and brain drain was forced to think of these rare gems.
Last 1964 there is a cartoon by the name of “The Big Arena of Little Adam”. It premiered on January 1 of this year. It had been a simple show of a son, Adam, who entered space. At that time, the usa was very much into Gemini along with the space program which means this cartoon seemed to seem sensible. While over 100 episodes were made, eventually we sick and tired with space along with the cartoon itself has totally drifted into obscurity. The one thing remaining of it will be the silly theme song that you can find and download all over the net.
In 1949 there is a show by the name of “My Dream Is Yours”. On this movie there is a scene where Bugs Bunny tries to awaken somewhat boy. At a later date, they can then be observed singing a song with all the two main stars, Jack Carson and Doris Day, wearing bunny suits. This movie has so dropped into obscurity that it was not seen on network television in over 4 decades.
If you want really rare cartoons you won’t need to travel away from the United States, but in 1924 Russia produced somewhat over four dozen propaganda films. These animations were never exported. They were made solely when considering winning over the minds and hearts of the Russian people. These cartoons were anti American, anti capitalist, anti fascist and anti whatever wasn’t the Russian state of mind. Over 80 years later nobody knows what happened about bat roosting animations.
Even a number of the more famous animators ever obtained by making cartoons that nobody has got word of. By way of example, a gentleman by the name of Duane Crowther, who had previously been a very famous animator during the 1950s, obtained his career by setting up a rare cartoon by the name of Blum Blum. This is a cartoon Crowther made whilst was only 20 years old. Blum Blum was in fact a cartoon of a character who wonder who he’s. The animation goes from the type starting up as Napoleon then turning into your pet dog as well as a number of other creatures. The animation is crude by today’s standards. You can actually discover the animation online just by learning about either Duane Crowther or Blum Blum on any search engine.
These are merely a number of the an incredible number of rare animations that most likely men and women will either never see or have always been forgotten by individuals who have seen them.
Perhaps it would be great when we might get our face to face most of these rare gems? The only problem is usually to find time to look at them.
