The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used session musicians to studio record the tune durring a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the very best result and quality. The song is now ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to contribute to at least one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
The other main goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his song Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous methods to help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
