The moment must the perfect wedding speech be delivered…?
How weddings have changed over the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
These are the latter, wedding speeches are nevertheless a fundamental part of being married and guests do look forward to hearing them, discussing them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered ahead of the meal, through the meal after the meal, yet it’s of your strong opinion the groom speech ought to be delivered following your meal. I understand that for a lot of bridal party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they would want to hold the wedding speeches prior to the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (a lot of them are paying for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and the way most of them (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would prefer wedding ceremony speeches being delivered after the meal for a lot of reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests have already been fed and watered and aren’t paying attention to wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which could be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches prior to the meal along with their can be quite a delay of A quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition in the meal on the dancing (without a penny happening following the meal, folks are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared concerning the Bride & Groom then they are fully aware they could wake up, move about, take a rest, take a stroll, see a bar…)
It can be difficult for folks from the Bride & Groom to speak in public areas, as the majority of them would not be used of computer. So, they could, when they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some form of formal speech(es) following the meal…
