2016 Xmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Xmas rock-POP track has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used local session musicians to studio record the track over a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States due to Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The song ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to donate to at least one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
One other absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the track to fund and setup a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to promote his track Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to simply help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
