2016 Xmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand
A new 2016 Xmas rock-POP song has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .
The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used session players to record the track durring a six week period. The songs includes 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States because of Mark needed the best outcome and quality. The song is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then ideally in-turn they’ll be good enough to give to at least one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
One other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to help fund and create a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will present free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to advertise his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to greatly help including a Thailand Hotel and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
